Went sailing on Californian today for the first time in nearly two weeks. It was a pretty good day, a nice light breeze that was perfectly situated for us to sail most of the way out of the bay and then all the way back in. Did some manoeuvres in the bay, and had an all around relaxing sail. Sailing again tomorrow and Sunday, it’s nice to be back in the swing of things.
Also getting ready for school next week, bleh. In addition to that, Festival of Sail is happening next weekend, with all kinds of fun to be had. The weekend after that is Dana Point’s Tall Ships Festival, which is always loads of fun. And then pretty soon we’ll be starting crew training for our November sail celebrating Star of India’s birthday! Pretty sure I’ll be on Surprise again this year, so I’ll be posting pictures and whatnot from that.
